A Successful 25th Anniversary Celebration!
Thank you for all of your support in helping us celebrate our 25th Anniversary! With your help we are able to provide 15 fruit trees to families in Northern Afghanistan! These trees will not only be able to provide an extra source of food and nutrition, but they will also help stablize the water table and provide a respite from dust that often results in respiratory problems.
In addition to providing families with fruit trees, our event raised funds towards the construction of a house in Southern Sudan. Over 30,000 Sudanese refugees are returning to their communities without shelter, food or employment. The support raised will provide one of these families with the comfort and pride of a new home that will not only protect them from the physical environment, but will give them the strength and hope to begin rebuilding their community.
