Brint Patrick

Brint Patrick is a graduate of Baylor University with more than 15 years of experience in Land Development, Project Management, Business Administration and Construction. He also has over a decade of international experience working in management and strategy roles in Latin America, Europe, Central Asia and North Africa. Brint has a passion for overseas missions and has spent several years working with the International Mission Board and Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. Brint's professional experience and broad understanding of mission work is a great asset to Shelter For Life and the board. Brint currently resides in the Twin Cities with his son Noah and his wife Terry.

Gordon A Wright

Gordon A. Wright has a passion to equip and train others to use their talents for the Lord's work and has extensive experience working in the international community. He is the founder and Executive Director of Jesus Inn Ministries, Inc., a Christian community of thirteen dwellings in Tulsa, Oklahoma that equips young people to fulfill the calling on their lives. Gordon is also the founder and president of East/West Resources International (EWR), which develops ministries and partnerships in second and third world countries to facilitate the equipping of pastors and church leadership. Gordon has written numerous articles and teaching pamphlets including a 16 tape discipleship series. He is a gifted teacher and has traveled and ministered throughout the United States and thirty countries abroad. The father of seven children, Gordon lives with his wife Sue in Tulsa.

Kyle Newkirk
Director of Commodity Risk Management for S&D Coffee. Prior to S&D Coffee Mr. Newkirk was Senior Manager of Global Risk for The Hershey Company. Prior to The Hershey Company, Mr. Newkirk held the position of Senior Global Sourcing Manger for General Mills. Mr. Newkirk has work experience with USAID as a Foreign Service Officer. Mr. Newkirk holds a Master of Science degree in Animal Science and a Bachelor of Science in Education, from Oklahoma State University. Mr. Newkirk has public and private sector experience in Asia, South America and Europe. In addition, Mr. Newkirk has knowledge of government contracting and assistance regulations, USAID programming and foreign assistance, sustainable agriculture development, and global supply chains. Originally from Kansas, Mr. Newkirk has lived and worked overseas with USAID in Afghanistan and Thailand. Mr. Newkirk resides in Concord, North Carolina.

Trey Weir
Victor A. Weir, III, or Trey, is Managing Partner for Bull Session, INC and Trey Weir Media, LLC. Prior to these roles Mr. Weir was Partner for Spectraband INC., a company that specialized in providing Mergers and Acquisitions consulting to telecom and internet companies. Prior to Spectraband INC., Mr. Weir was Director of Strategic Development for CoServ, an electric cooperative serving members in North Texas. Prior to CoServ, Mr. Weir was Strategic Development Manager for US Wavelink, INC., a wireless network developer specializing in LMDS technology. Mr. Weir holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Finance, Entrepreneurship and Real Estate from Baylor University. Mr. Weir has over 15 years of experience with financial analysis, contract negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, strategic business development, and capital funding and management. Originally from Arlington, Texas, Mr. Weir has knowledge of telecom, internet, de-regulated power, and digital media industries. Mr. Weir currently resides in Fort Worth, Texas.
 
Thomas Lane
Thomas M. Lane, is owner of Advanced Metal Roofing, a construction company that manufactures and installs metal roofing. Mr. Lane is a retired carpenter and ironworker with over 45 years of experience in the construction industry. Mr. Lane has expertise in drafting, design, sheet metal work, plumbing, electrical, roofing, steel fabrication and erection, wood construction and excavation. Mr. Lane also has some experience with agriculture, horticulture and aquaculture.  Mr. Lane possesses knowledge and hands on experience with tools, equipment, materials and methods. Tom and his wife, Michelle, have eight children and live in Chardon, Ohio.
