Brint Patrick
Brint Patrick is a graduate of Baylor University with more than 15 years of experience in Land Development, Project Management, Business Administration and Construction. He also has over a decade of international experience working in management and strategy roles in Latin America, Europe, Central Asia and North Africa. Brint has a passion for overseas missions and has spent several years working with the International Mission Board and Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. Brint's professional experience and broad understanding of mission work is a great asset to Shelter For Life and the board. Brint currently resides in the Twin Cities with his son Noah and his wife Terry.
Gordon A Wright

Gordon A Wright

Gordon A. Wright has a passion to equip and train others to use their talents for the Lord's work and has extensive experience working in the international community. He is the founder and Executive Director of Jesus Inn Ministries, Inc., a Christian community of thirteen dwellings in Tulsa, Oklahoma that equips young people to fulfill the calling on their lives. Gordon is also the founder and president of East/West Resources International (EWR), which developes ministries and partnerships in 2nd and 3rd world countries to facilitate the equipping of pastors and church leadership. Gordon has written numerous articles and teaching pamphlets including a 16 tape discipleship series. He is a gifted teacher and has traveled and ministered throughout the United States and thirty countries abroad. The father of seven children, Gordon lives with his wife Sue in Tulsa.

Norm Leatherwood
Growing up in the Middle East, the Caribbean, and Asia, Norm has been immersed in the international community. Norm worked at SFL for nine years, as International Program Director and then as Executive Director. His leadership helped establish SFL's reputation for innovative program design, technical proficiency, and quality performance in challenging third world building environments. He helped grow SFL significantly in areas of program impact and revenue, effective new-field development, and high capacity staff recruitment. Norm is an ordained minister and served a congregation in Chicago for 15 years in church leadership. He currently serves as the Global Executive Director of Christ the Rock Community Church and on the board of Not Forgotten International. Norn is lives with his wife in Menasha, WI and has three children.
Thor  Armstrong
Thor Armstrong
SFL Founder and Chairman, 53, started the organization in Pakistan 1982 with a dedicated team of volunteers from around the world. Responding to an outpouring of refugees from Afghanistan caused by the Soviet invasion in 1979, Thor and the team developed innovative and cost-effective housing solutions for refugees and displaced people. Thor served as SFL's President and CEO until 2001 and managed the organization's expansion into numerous other countries where refugees and displaced people were under-served. An entrepreneur, Thor has successfully started and managed several for profit and not-for-profit companies over his 27 year career, but his passion has always been to provide shelter to those without. Currently, Thor is a Financial Representative with COUNTRY Financial™, a leading provider of insurance and financial products in the US. He holds Series 6 and 65 licenses and owns and operates the Thor Armstrong Insurance Agency in his home town of Las Vegas, Nevada.
